Aspiring Women To Ring Bells For Salvation Army

The ringing of bells signals the arrival of the Christmas season and the season for donating to the Salvation Army.

The Aspirus Aspiring Women program will be teaming up with the Salvation Army this Saturday to help ring those bells.

Aspirus’s Jenn Jenich-Laplander says they will be at Econo Foods in Houghton and Shopko in Calumet from 8:30-11:30.

“We chose the Salvation Army because we felt it was a great organization and it really fit into our mission statement which is promoting health and strengthening communities and that was one way that we can give back as well from an organization,” said Jenich-Laplander.

All the money they help raise will be matched by Aspirus.
