The retreat takes place September 12th through the -16th.
Bay Cliff Health Camp is a nonprofit organization committed to enriching the lives of individuals living with disabilities through programs that foster health, happiness, and greater independence.
This program is for individuals living in the Upper Peninsula who have survived a stroke and are living at home or in a nursing facility and are completed with any outpatient treatment or home-health care, as well as their caregivers.
Thanks to a generous grant from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, this program is free of charge for the participants.
Participants will learn how to manage life after a stroke and discover techniques and strategies for moving forward.
Anyone interested in the program should contact Martha Smith-Process at Bay Cliff: (906) 345-9314. Visit baycliff.org for an application.
Deadline to register is September 4.
