Annual Fashion Show Against Domestic Violence

The Baraga County Shelter Home (BCSH) will be hosting the annual “Hearts and Hands – A Traveling Fashion Show” in recognition of October being Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The fashion show will be held on Monday, October 15 at the L’Anse American Legion building located on the waterfront in L’Anse.

Featuring clothing from Michigamme’s own Crock and Rocker, the event begins at 5p.m. with browsing and social hour. A full-course dinner and the fashion show will begin at 6, with a cash bar available. Crock and Rocker will have a large assortment of beautiful garments for purchase after the show. There will also be a silent auction of several donated items to benefit the Baraga County Shelter Home (BCSH) and clients.

Tickets for the event are $30. That includes dinner, dessert, tax, gratuity, a non-alcoholic beverage and a donation to the shelter home. Tickets can be purchased at the BCSH’s Outreach Office in the American Legion building, Waves of Touch Massage and Intention Yoga and Wellness Center, all conveniently located in L’Anse. Tickets can also be purchased at Crock and Rocker. Tickets must be purchased in advance, so get your tickets now. Tickets will be available for purchased thru Monday, October 8.
