Alfred Erickson American Legion Post 186 Smashes Previous Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser Record

The Copper Country showed up in force again, for another event.

This time, Hancock’s Alfred Erickson American Legion Post 186 served 641 spaghetti dinners, for their annual fundraiser.

Jim Peterson, who spent the day over a hot stove.

“That’s 105 more people than we’ve ever fed.”

Post Commander Rod Guilbault had this to say about the turnout.

“Great community support.”

Some of the programs they support throughout the year include going to 10 different sites on Memorial Day, little league baseball and Boy Scouts of America.
