AG Nessel Coming To UP For Elder Abuse Town Hall

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel will be visiting the Upper Peninsula next week to take part in a Senior Citizens Summit.

The Attorney General will join State Representative Sara Cambensy for an Elder Abuse Town Hall on the campus of Northern Michigan University at the Northern Center (formerly the University Center) in Marquette on Monday, August 12th from 10am to noon.

Nessel recently announced a bipartisan Elder Abuse Task Force focused on developing strategies to mitigate the issue of elder abuse.

At the summit, Cambensy and her guests will provide information about the task force, share available resources and discuss legislative issues impacting seniors.
