The Adams Township School District has reaped some big benefits from a couple of fundraisers.
At last night’s Board of Education meeting, members heard that the Adams Township Schools Foundation raised $17,000 at its recent dinner. The Athletic Department’s 5k and 10k run brought in $7,500. Superintendent Tim Keteri told us the music department is planning a fundraising concert this coming Tuesday.
The district’s student count for the 2019-2020 is up. Projects funded by the recent bond issue are on schedule and within budget.
The board hired Anthony Arens to be the high school boys junior varsity basketball coach, and Stephanie Sturbenz to coach girls JV hoops.
