Over 600 Michigan Students To Take Part In Make A Difference Day

This Saturday is Make a Difference Day.

Once again, many individual Michigan Tech students as well as numerous student organizations are getting off campus to make our community a little bit better.

Started in 1992, Make a Difference Day, is one of the largest annual single days of service nationwide.

Each year, volunteers and communities come together with the single purpose of improving the lives of others.

This Saturday, Tech students will give back to the community in ways large and small, from raking leaves to passing out Halloween treats.

Last year more than 665 students took part and Michigan Tech is expecting to have even more this year.
