Bridgefest has arrived!
The30th annual celebration of the Portage Lake Lift Bridge and all things summer begins today.
The Bridgefest Parade takes place on the Houghton side of the canal, stepping off at 7pm, starting on College Avenue and heading through downtown.
Live music, food and fun is planned for Kestner Waterfront Park starting at 3pm today and lasting through Saturday night, capped off by the Jon Davis Memorial Fireworks show.
Marketing Coordinator Wes Frahm of Superior National Bank explains why they became the title sponsor for Bridgefest.
Copper Country Relay For Life is also holding their annual fundraiser at the park on Saturday, complete with games and the luminarias.
