The theme has been announced for this year’s Parade of Nations.
Participants will celebrate “Fairy Tales from Around the World.”
The Parade of Nations is an annual celebration of the multiculturalism of the community.
This year’s parade will take place on September 16th, featuring international students from Michigan Tech, and community organizations. Following the parade, international students from the university will share favorite foods from their home countries.
This year, along with the international offerings, local food vendors and live musicians will also be invited to take part. Kid’s Corner returns, where children can participate in a craft or activity.
This year’s logo contest will begin soon. Students from area schools will be invited to submit artwork. The winner will receive a $300 prize, and their logo will be featured on Parade of Nations t-shirts.
