With the deadline to fill out your 2020 Census form less than two weeks away, Michigan’s “Be Counted” campaign has released two new American Sign Language videos urging the state’s 740,000 deaf and hard of hearing residents to fill their form out.
According to the US Census Bureau, Michigan still has 800,000 people to fill out the form, which could wind up costing Michigan $24 Billion over the next decade.
Michigan’s deaf and hard of hearing population stands to benefit from any additional funding, which is why the videos were made for them.
