200+ Strike for Climate Change

More than 200 people turned out Friday afternoon to show their support for action to address climate change.

The group met below the Houghton-Hancock Bridge, then stretched out along the pedestrian walkways, chanting slogans and carrying signs.

The effort was part of a worldwide campaign to force action to stop global warming. Around the planet, an estimated four million people took part.
