Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly is holding a raffle to raise money to replace the truck volunteers use to plow snow and deliver heating wood to elderly friends in the Copper Country. The truck will cost $40,000, once it’s equipped with a plow and a dumping system. A $10,000 donation has already been made toward the new truck by the Alden and Vada Dow Foundation. Little Brothers hopes to raise an additional $24,000 through the raffle. Tickets are $40.00 each. Systems Manager Mike Cinelli says there could potentially be three prizes. The prize drawing will be held August 2nd. Tickets are available at the Little Brothers office in Hancock.
