Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly is making final preparations for its Easter dinners for area seniors. They have some last-minute needs, and are asking for your help to fill them.
First, because of a calculation error, they need 250 pounds of ham (preferably in the form of around 25 hams of approximately 10-pounds each).
They also need…
– 20 two-liter bottles of ginger ale
– 12 16-ounce cans of pineapple rings
– 26 one-pound sticks of butter
– Homemade desserts
Elder Services Coordinator Julie Beck tells us they would like to have these items in place by close of business Thursday. If you can assist, please call Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly at 482-6944 as quickly as possible.
Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly dinners will be served at 2:00 at the following locations:
– St. Ignatius Church, Houghton
– The Church of the Resurrection in Hancock
– Sacred Heart Church, Calumet
– Copper City Community Building, Copper City
– Grace Lutheran Church, South Range
