Lift Bridge Closures Planned

Watch for closures of the Houghton-Hancock Bridge tonight and tomorrow night.

Contractors will be testing the new motors that have been installed to move the decks up and down.

Weather permitting, multiple lifts will take place between 10:00 this evening and 5:00 tomorrow morning, and again between 10:00 tomorrow evening and 5:00 Thursday morning.

Vehicle, pedestrian and bicycle traffic will be affected.

The snowmobile trail on the lower level was scheduled to be removed yesterday, as trails have closed for the season.
