A lot of small businesses start small, from the inside of a home garage, or a kitchen oven. Tonight at the MSU extension office, you can learn what it takes to sell food products to the public under Michigan Cottage Food Law. This workshop combines the business and food safety aspects of food preparation. Topics include hands on demos and information on preparing, packaging, labeling, storing, marketing, financial processes and transporting of cottage foods. The class costs 20 dollars to attend.
