Lake Linden Joins List Of Communities With “Let-Run” Advisories

“Let-Run” water advisories continue to be in effect for many communities in the Copper Country.

The Village of Lake Linden is directing its water system customers to run their water at a steady stream slightly larger than a pencil lead effective immediately.

Running only one faucet in the house is sufficient.  If you already have a bypass valve running, then you don’t need to leave a faucet on.

Lake Linden village officials say water should be ran until a notice to stop is sent in the mail to all system users.

The village of L’Anse, the cities of Houghton and Hancock, and parts of Portage Township have issued similar “let-run” advisories.
