The Lake Linden-Hubbell Board of Education says they’ve approved a bond referendum for the August ballot.
Voters will be asked to approve the purchase of bonds totaling $2.77 million, an average of 1.25 mills for a maximum of 14 years.
The bond proposal will address pressing security and infrastructure and building issues.
The security measures include a keyless entry system, door replacement and modernization of the fire alarm system.
Other facility improvements include waste and water line replacement, a new elementary school roof, repairs to the high school exterior and replacement of the roof of the walkway connecting the high school and elementary school.
There will also be restroom and locker room renovations, a student commons area in the high school, classroom furniture and technology replacement, and improvements to the playground and practice field area.
