The second of two suspects in a recent drug bust in Lake Linden is expected to be arraigned today.

On Thursday, 43-year-old Damon Belcher of Detroit stood mute to two counts of delivery and/or manufacture of a controlled substance and two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Since he stood mute, a Not Guilty plea was entered on his behalf.

Each count is punishable by up to 20 years in prison and/or a $25,000 fine.

Belcher is currently being lodged in the Houghton County Jail.

He is scheduled to appear for a pretrial in January.

The second suspect, 35-year-old Corrie Ruth of Flint, is scheduled to appear in Houghton County Circuit Court today for his arraignment.

The two men were arrested in November after an investigation by UPSET detectives.

$10,000 worth of heroin and cocaine and roughly $2,000 in cash were discovered in a Lake Linden residence.
