Kid Rock Donates Large Amount to Michigan Food Banks

Many Upper Peninsula Residents will receive meals this winter provided by Detroit Rocker Kid Rock.   Rock announced recently that he will be donating $25,000 to the Feeding America West Michigan Food Bank that serves 40 Michigan counties including all 15 Upper Peninsula counties. He stated in a series of tweets that he hopes to “influence others to donate as well, and its important to help others out, especially this time of year when many are struggling.”

Its anticipated that the donation will provide 100,000 meals in the state of Michigan. The Kid Rock Foundation is also contributing the same donation to food banks in Tennessee.
