Keweenaw Community Foundation’s Annual Keweenaw Gold Fundraiser Scheduled For March 22

Houghton, Michigan—Keweenaw Community Foundation (KCF) is currently planning this year’s Keweenaw Gold annual fundraiser. It will be held on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2016, at The Continental Fire Company in Houghton. This year, the theme and focus of the event will be “Keweenaw Gold—Our Community Rocks”.

Participants will enjoy the evening as they join friends from across the Keweenaw in learning about the inspiring work being done in the community. Entertainment for the event will be live performances by young, local musicians from PJ Olsson’s Rock Camp and the Keweenaw Youth Symphony Orchestra. The event will be catered with a cash bar. Attendees will also have an opportunity to join the Keweenaw Gold Club by bidding on tiles made from minerals from the Clark Mine by Copper Harbor.

All proceeds raised during the event will go towards promoting the foundation’s mission to inspire giving that invests in our community’s quality of life. KCF is amazed at the level of giving that occurs in the area, and it could not function without the community’s support.

Those interested in attending can RSVP by visiting www.k-c-f.org or calling the KCF office at (906) 482-9673. If your business would like to sponsor this event, please call the Keweenaw Community Foundation for more information. KCF looks forward to seeing everyone March 22nd!

Through philanthropic services, strategic investments and community leadership, Keweenaw Community Foundation helps people support the causes they care about, now and for generations to come. For more information on Keweenaw Community Foundation and how to give, visit its website at www.k-c-f.org.
