After kids clean out Calumet of the town’s candy on Saturday, families can trick or treat with Michigan Tech’s students. On Sunday the Inter Residence Housing Council hosts its annual Safehouse trick or treating. The event has kids from the area stop by student dorm halls and trick-or-treat with college students. The event has been a tradition of the university to promote community involvement between students and the area since 1988. Wadsworth Hall, Douglass Houghton Hall, McNair, Hall, and Hillside Place will have activities for families. Families can park in lot 8 between Walker and Douglas Houghton Hall. IRHC Safehouse will start on Sunday at 3 pm.
