Invasive New Zealand Mud Snail Found In Michigan River

Another invasive species in Michigan.

The state DNR says the New Zealand Mud Snail has been found in the Au Sable River near Grayling.

They believe it arrived by sticking on to the waders of fishermen.

The DNR and the DEQ will start conducting surveys to see if the mud snail is in other Michigan waterways.
