HANCOCK, MI – Finlandia University’s International School of Art & Design (ISAD) 2019 Bachelor of Fine Arts Diploma Works Exhibition is featured from May 4 to May 29, 2019, at the Finlandia University Gallery. The Finlandia University Gallery is located in the Finnish American Heritage Center in Hancock.
A reception for the artists will take place at the gallery Saturday, May 4, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. The artists will be introduced at 7:20 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
The artworks featured in the annual Diploma Works Exhibition represent the final body of student work for each graduating bachelor of fine arts (BFA) student. The works include intensive research projects, series of individual artworks, and design prototypes. A variety of media is represented including fashion design, marketing and graphic design, and intermedia.
The 2019 International School of Art & Design graduating seniors are Jayana Barrette (Intermedia), Miranda Conroy (Graphic Design), Marina Dalton (Graphic Design), Monica Freeman (Marketing/ and Graphic Design), Gina Geliche (Fiber and Fashion Design), Angela Kilpela (Graphic Design), Jaavid Love (Graphic Design), Jessica Shields (Fiber and Fashion Design), and Hannah Smith (Fiber and Fashion Design).
“Finlandia University International School of Art and Design Bachelor of Fine Arts Diploma Works exhibition 2019” is on display at the Finlandia University Gallery through May 29th.
