House Agriculture Committee Hits The Road

The Michigan House Agriculture Committee is holding the first of what may be many committee hearings on the road.

The first stop – a dairy farm about 50 miles east of Saginaw in Snover.

The committee will be talking about proper drainage today and will also discuss a bill to ensure a farmer doesn’t have to get a permit to cut down a fencerow, which is the grass and weeds that grow up on either side of a fence.
