Houghton-Portage Townships Schools is seeking a new board member.
Applicants must send a notice of interest to Superintendent Doreen Klingbeil. The board will review the application.
The person would be up for election at the next regular school board election next November.
The need for a new member comes after former member Amy Schrank announced during the last school year she would be leaving the board because of a change in residency.
