Houghton County Sheriff Responds to Single-Vehicle Roll-Over Crash

One person was injured in a single-vehicle accident last night in Torch Lake Township. The Houghton County sheriff was dispatched to a single-vehicle roll over crash last night at approximately 11 p.m. When deputies arrived on the scene the vehicle was rolled over on Baulman Road near Upper Point Mills Road. The 20-year-old Dollar Bay driver was transported to UPHS – Portage for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. The sheriff’s department does believe alcohol was a factor. The Houghton County sheriff was assisted on the scene by Dollar Bay fire and first responders, mercy ambulance, and superior service towing.
