The Houghton County Fair continues today. Exhibit buildings open at 11. The midway cranks up at 1.

Mike Urbis will perform on the indoor stage at 12:30.
The junior livestock auction will start at 5:30 at the livestock barn. Anyone can bid on the animals that have been raised by local youth. If you win one, a company will be on hand to arrange for processing.
Main event features today include the farm tractor pull at 5:30, and the off-road derby at 7:30. Cathy Isaacson will be tonight’s featured performer on the indoor stage.
Highlights tomorrow include the youth talent show at 12:30 on the indoor stage. The show has been expanded this year to include groups, as well as individual performers. Kids Fun Day activities will take place between 3 and 5 in the indoor arena. Monster trucks will return tomorrow night, with a chance to meet the drivers at 6, and the competition beginning at 7:30 at the outdoor arena.
The fair wraps up Sunday with the demolition derby at 2:00. The midway and other activities will close Sunday afternoon at 5.
