Like it or not, summer’s last hurrah is right around the corner.
But at least that means it’s almost time for the Houghton County Fair.
The fair board will meet Thursday, August 6th at 7pm in the SISU room of the Houghton County Arena in Hancock.
The public is welcome to attend.
Fair dates are August 27th to the 30th. Exhibitors can register online by going to the fiar website, www.houghtoncountyfair.com
The registration deadline for youth in clubs and all livestock is 7pm Wednesday August 19th unless otherwise noted.
Open and Youth exhibits have a deadline to register of Friday, August 21st at 6pm.
The Fair Exhibitor’s Guide is available on the fair website or at the Chamber of Commerce office in Houghton, the Visitor Center in Calumet, Erickson Feed Seed and Pet Supply in Hurontown, Northwoods Sporting Goods and Superior National Bank in Hancock.
