Houghton comes in at number 302.
The rankings by Wallethub.com were based on data such as the performance level of local teams, average ticket prices, attendance and the number of sports bars.
East Lansing was ranked third in the nation with Ann Arbor 8th and Detroit at number 11.
Marquette was also on the list but behind Houghton at number 308.
Number one overall was Boston.
