Hospice Volunteers Honored

Tonight, Portage Health Hospice will honor their hospice volunteers with a reception and dinner at The Bluffs Ballroom. Two awards will be presented at the ceremony which will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Pastor David Weber from Saints Peter and Paul Lutheran Church in Houghton will be presented with the Hospice Volunteer of the Year award and President Obama’s Presidential Volunteer Service Silver Award for over 441 hours of volunteer service will be presented to Delores Kotajarvi. The awards will be presented at 6:30.
