Home Invasion Death in Menominee County

A 19-year-old man was found dead inside a Menominee County home Monday afternoon. Sheriffs Deputies say a 62-year-old man called 911 to say that someone was breaking into his home in Mellen Township. When deputies got to the house, they found the teen dead of multiple gunshot wounds. Police from three different agencies searched the area and a state trooped found two young men.,..aged 19 and 20…hiding in some nearby woods. They were arrested and are facing possible charges of home invasion, breaking and entering, and larceny. Sheriff’s officials do not believe there are any other suspects. No one has been charged with the shooting. Names are not being released until the suspects are arraigned, the family of the dead teen can be notified and an autopsy is held.
