HEET Looking For Energy Manager

If you would like to further the efforts to bring down energy rates in the Copper Country, the Houghton Energy Efficiency Team has a position for you. The Energy Manager (EM) will serve as a community energy champion, project coordinator, community organizer, and day-to-day manager of the Houghton County Energy Plan. The EM will lead and organize community efforts in conjunction with Houghton County’s participation in the competition. Responsibilities include working with local utilities, regional planning bodies, county and municipal governments, and community-based organizations to attract resources and establish energy efficiency programs for Houghton County. In addition, the EM will document activities and coordinate efforts with several volunteer coordinators. The Energy Manager is a part time, salaried position.
