The Houghton Energy Efficiency Team is holding the first of two Great LED Light Bulb Swaps this Saturday in Calumet.
The event is set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Siskiwit Reception Hall, next to Erickson-Crowley-Peterson Funeral Home on Pine Street.
The second swap will be held April 23 at the Lakeshore Center in Houghton.
The first 100 households that bring in an old incandescent bulb can swap it for a new, energy-saving LED light bulb.
A limited number of free LED bulbs are also available for Ontonagon County REA customers; bring a recent power bill to qualify.
For UPPCO customers, Efficiency United will be on hand and will be selling LED bulbs at the deeply discounted rate of six for $10.
Information on additional energy-saving services, products and practices will also be available.
