Representatives from Michigan’s new Health Endowment Fund listened to health care concerns from Upper Peninsula residents at a hearing in Marquette Thursday morning. Discussion focused on communication, health education, transportation for elderly residents and physician recruitment. Fund Chairman Rob Fowler says the input was helpful… FOWLER. The Fund is being built with 1.5-billion dollars that’s being collected from Blue Cross Blue Shield subscribers. It will focus on health system improvements for children and the elderly.
