The case against a Hancock man accused of shooting someone with a bow and arrow is moving forward.
58-year-old James Walters is charged with Attempted Murder.
The Hancock man appeared in 97th District Court Wednesday for a preliminary hearing.
Police say Walters shot a 56-year-old man in the shoulder following an argument at a residence on Summit Street in Hancock in February.
He faces up to Life in prison if convicted.
Walters is currently lodged in the Houghton County Jail on a $500,000 cash bond.
His case was bound over to Houghton County Circuit Court where he is expected to enter a plea when he is arraigned later this month.
