At yesterday’s Hancock city council meeting, the $7.4 million budget for the 2014-2015 fiscal year was presented. Among the highlights are $10,000 to establish a parks and recreation endowment, $20,000 for a bridge replacement at the Maasto Hiito Ski Trail and $40,000 for local street paving. The council was also presented with a preliminary report on the spring sewer flow analysis and City Manager Glen Anderson says so far, nothing unusual has came up.
Also, the council made some more changes to White Street.
Anderson says US-41 will be resigned and repainted so that there is no longer a left turn lane into White Street.
