Today’s Hancock City Council meeting will start off with two public hearings. The first will discuss a proposed $480,000 Michigan State Housing Development Authority grant application for the Homebuyers purchase and Homeowner rehab projects. The second will be closing out a MSHDA grant for just under $300,000 which funded seven new apartments at 116 Quincy Street. The council will also look to renew its MDOT Trunkline contract as well as approve the agreement for the Michigan Economic Development Corporation application for a SmartZone Satellite in Marquette.
