A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Navy Street Park Boardwalk Project in Hancock will take place this morning at 10 a.m. Among those that will be in attendance are Hancock Mayor Lisa McKenzie and State Representative Scott Dianda. The boardwalk, which was completed in the fall of 2013, is 362 feet long, 10 feet wide, handicap accessible and is available for walking, fishing, sightseeing and boating. Mayor McKenzie says the project significantly enhances public access to the Hancock Portage Lake Shoreline.
