Republican Governor Rick Snyder and his Democratic challenger, Mark Schauer have agreed to a town hall-style debate to be broadcast on Detroit Public Television. The candidates will face off in a one-hour debate at 6 p.m. October 12th at Wayne State University in Detroit and it will be held in front of a live audience of “undecided” voters. Snyder and Schauer have not agreed to any other debates, so this may be the only time the two gubernatorial candidates will share a stage before the November election.
