Governor Rick Snyder has been hospitalized in Ann Arbor, and is diagnosed with a blood clot in his leg. The clot is in the same leg where he partially tore his Achilles’ tendon earlier this year. A spokesperson for Snyder says the governor is in St. Joseph’s Mercy Health System hospital, and is in good health and in good hands. The governor noticed swelling in his leg this morning. He has canceled several appointments on his calendar, however he still plans to personally unveil his 2016 budget to the Legislature as planned, next Wednesday.
