General Motors will be teaming up with several car rental agencies to provide loaner cars during a recall involving vehicles with faulty ignition switches. Approximately one-point-six million Chevrolet Cobalts, Saturn Ions and other older GM models are being repaired. The automaker will pay for the rental cars which may be from other manufacturers. Vehicles from Ford Motor Company, Chrysler and Asian automakers could be part of the rental fleet. GM begins replacing the faulty ignition switches on April 7th.
