Michigan Tech is about to receive another big donation from General Motors. The $110,000 grant from the General Motors Foundation will help fund activities including the Advanced Hybrid Electric Vehicle and Advanced Motorsports Enterprises, the Manufacturing Engineering Initiative, pre-college STEM outreach programs and diversity programs. The check will be presented by Steven Tomaszewski. He’s GM’s global facilities director of operations for North America, and a member of Michigan Tech’s Board of Trustees. The check presentation which will be held at 10:00 Thursday in Memorial Union Ballroom A.
