Gas Prices Take A Surprising Turn

Gas prices are down in Michigan over the past week.

AAA reports that the average price of a gallon of gas in the state is now $2.46 cents per gallon.

The weekly decline is the first in a month.

Among the markets surveyed, the lowest prices are in Traverse City at $2.38, while Marquette drivers pay the most at $2.52.

GasBuddy.com’s Patrick DeHaan predicted last week that Michigan’s prices could shoot 30-cents per gallon higher this week.
