Michigan’s gas prices are down slightly to start the week.
According to Triple-A Michigan, a gallon of gas costs about $1.88, three cents less than last week’s average and about eight cents less than this same time last year.
It’s the seventh straight week that all 10 metro areas of Michigan had average prices below $2, and were below the national average.
The Lansing/East Lansing area has the lowest prices at $1.80, while Traverse City drivers are paying the most at $1.92.
