Gas Prices Increase But Stay Below $2.00

For the second week in a row, gas prices in Michigan have ticked up a bit but remain under $2.00 a gallon.

AAA Michigan says the statewide average is up about 7-cents to $1.91 a gallon.

While that is an increase from last week it’s still 60-cents cheaper than the same time last year.

The cheapest gas can be found in the Detroit area at $1.86 a gallon.

The most expensive price at the pump is in Marquette, where gas is $1.99 a gallon.
