Gas Prices Drop–But Could Spike Soon

There’s been another double-digit drop in the price of gasoline in Michigan.

AAA says the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded is around $1.60 a gallon.

That is a drop of 13-cents a gallon from one week ago and the second consecutive week the price has dropped over 10 cents on average.

The lowest average price is found in the Lansing area at $1.47 per gallon.

The highest average is in Marquette at $1.77.

Meanwhile, Gasbuddy.com says gas prices could spike in the next day or two by about 20 cents a gallon.
