Gas Prices Continue To Fall

The price of gas in Michigan went up an average of five cents per gallon over the past week.

AAA Michigan’s weekly survey shows the average price in Michigan is about $1.66 per gallon, which is 45 cents per gallon below the year-ago average.

The lowest prices in the state were found in Detroit, which averaged $1.62.

The highest average price was found in the Lansing-East Lansing area at $1.69.

The statewide average is below the $1.75 national average.
