Freighter Still Stuck In Whitefish Bay

Efforts continue to safely remove the vessel that ran aground in Whitefish Bay.

The Coast Guard says the chance of a fuel spill remains small from the Roger Blough, an 858 foot long vessel which remains stable with a crew in good condition.

A Coast Guard Auxiliary aircrew conducted an overflight of the area Sunday morning and reported no signs of pollution.
