Want to try Disc Golf? Here’s your chance.
The Keweenaw National Historical Park and the Western U.P. Health Department is hosting a free public disc golf outing this evening at Calumet Lake, on the north side of Calumet.
All skill levels from beginner to expert are welcome.
Participants will learn the rules of disc golf, practice skills, play 9 holes and hear a short talk on the history of the area.
A limited number of discs will be available to borrow if you don’t already have your own.
The event begins at 7pm and is the 8th event in a series of Step Into History activities being hosted by the park and the health department through a grant from the National Park Foundation’s Active Trails program.
