Michigan Tech students continue to be in high demand from potential employers.
To help bring them together, the university has launched Career FEST, beginning with Foundry Day Thursday on campus.
Career FEST is an enhancement of Tech’s biannual Career Fairs, providing additional opportunities for students to speak with recruiters.
Career Development and Corporate Event Promotions Coordinator Shelley Farrey says they tell the students to take advantage of this opportunity.
Six different companies were represented at the event and Associate Director for Employer Relations Jim Desrochers says this is as much a benefit to them as it is to the students.
Foundry Day is part of Industry Days, which will also feature days in the Energy, Steel and Automotive fields.
